The tile work is done and our to-do list is now filled with smaller things like filling holes and painting trim and doors.
The pantry turned cubby storage is one of my favorite little moments (thank you, John!).
And I think when they go green they will feel even more special.
Micah put the hardware on, and I’m really glad we went simple with these pretty little knobs. Other than cleaning and painting we have the baseboards to put on the cabinets and the mirrored backsplash will be going in in a few weeks. Totally finished or not, this space is already such a joy to be in. I can’t pretend that cooking has become an overnight love, but dinner prep is certainly a bit more delightful! Happy weekend, friends!

Also, not sure if you’re aware, but your feed hasn’t updated since February (at least in Feedly) and I just noticed when they announced the ORC participants! I would hate for others to miss out on your fantastic spaces!
themakerista@gmail.com says
Thanks, Jennifer! I know, I have gotten a lot of emails about it but unfortunately Feedly has to update the RSS, it’s out of my hands. I’ve reached out to them, but if you can as well maybe that will speed things up. You can always subscribe by email until then!
