Xander’s school visits the Sibley Apple Orchard every year to see cider made and pick some pumpkins. I got to attend last year, but had to bring Milly along. This year it was nice to have a date with my favorite little man.

This face and a drawn out “oooh” are what you can expect out of her when she’s unsure of something happening. Usually followed by finger pointing, once she discovers what is going on.
I can’t get enough of these boots. They also come in camel and hot pink. I’m very tempted!

We decided to try carving a pumpkin with the kids this year, but neither of them were interested in the dirty work of it all. “Eww, yuck!”

A ghost. I mean, it doesn’t get a whole lot easier on my end, other than if I would have gone to the store and bought something. And this was free because I already had everything. It was also an excuse to cut up one of our bed sheets so I can finally get us some new ones…I’ve only been planning to do that for a year now.

We trick-or-treated in my parents neighborhood, the same homes I anxiously ran up to on Halloween night. It was fun to experience it as a parent, and kind of strange too.
What can sometimes look tacky by day, can be the best by night.
Xander had the time of his life. He asked, “can it be Halloween again tomorrow?” I love seeing him grow and learn to appreciate things like this. I hope you all had a frightfully enjoyable Hallow’s Eve. Did you make the rounds to collect candy, attend a great party, or stay cozied up to watch some Halloween classics?

Tink turned out great! I had a couple of last minute changes over here, too. Both my girls (2 and 4) really "got" it this year and it was so fun to watch them running from house to house with huge smiles on their faces. I'm always commenting on Milly's clothes, but, seriously…you should do a whole post on where you shop for her! That v-neck sweater and button down with leopard mocs…dying.

Love the ghost! My 4yr old wants to be one. What is the black material for yes/mouth? Did u sew it on? Also, did u have another layer of sheet at bottom? Love how it looked full. Any tips would be appreciated, thank you!
It’s a few layers of tulle sewed on. Just a sheet. I used a queen and cut it into a circle. Good luck!
