It’s time to vote for round 2 of Creating with the Stars! This round is PAINTING. I hope you’ll take a second and head on over to East Coast Creative to vote today and Tuesday!
Since I’m kind of swimming in projects I can’t share with you yet ( I don’t like it either), I thought today I would share a really lovely party my dear friend, Laura, threw for her daughter. Laura is not only an amazing photographer, she has such an incredible eye for all things design. Her home is just gorgeous and her style, whether it be interior or event, is so effortlessly beautiful. I’ll let the pictures do the talking, and give you a few sources at the end.
Laura is the best moment-capturer I know.
Favors : Target | Paper, tissue for flowers, watering can, baskets: Target | Banner: scraps on hand | Stand : Ikea | Plants + pots: Walmart | Berry baskets, straws, sliver wear, crepe paper (for flowers): Shop Sweet Lulu
Thank you, Laura, for sharing! Have a lovely week and don’t forget to head on over to East Coast Creative to vote.

What an amazing party and photographs!
All the projects are amazing again at CWTS!!!
Isn't she incredibly talented?!
This is one of the loveliest kids parties I have seen. So many lovely touches but totally doable. This is just gorgeous!
I know, Laura just has this way of making simple things but they are out of this world beautiful!
What an adorable party! I'm saving this idea for one day!
I am DYING over this adorable party!! And I loved your last East coast project…can't wait to see which was yours this time!
Thanks! I know, it was too good to not share!
What an amazing party! Love it. Off to vote!
Thanks so much!
This is so beautiful! Those flowers on the wall are to die for. And the photo of Olive and her grandmother (assuming it's her grandmother) – I'm melting from the cuteness!
I know! I had to include that one. 🙂
Two questions:
How did you make the flowers? Is there a tutorial or DIY somewhere? They are wonderful!
Where did you get the black paned glass terrarium?
Beautiful party?
Hi Jillian! I'm not sure how Laura made the flowers. I know she used crepe and tissue paper. I think she got the terrarium locally. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
Oh my goodness…how adorable! Thanks so much for sharing. Would love to see more of Laura's house. Her dining room is SPEAKING to me. Maybe you could house crash her? 🙂
I know, I'd totally love to! She's super busy and a waaay better photog then me, so it's a matter of getting her to agree and she'd probably want to take her own pics. 🙂
It's on my list!
This is the most adorable party I have seen. I am in awe over those flowers! Looks like it was a great party!
Isn't it amazing?! Laura is so talented!
Such a unique idea & the pictures were amazing! I'm seriously crushing on the dining room….share more of the house!

This is gorgeous! I would love to know where she got the white and dipped buckets?
Lauren, they're from Target.
Your white dining room is the perfect backdrop for a party, it looks great! It's such an original theme, I can't help but borrow it for an upcoming Father's Day event. The photos really capture the simplicity of day. Beautiful post!
This is fantastic! What are the plastic carrots in the buckets?
This is fantastic! What are the plastic carrots in the buckets?
I believe they were from the dollar bins at Target. Best of luck finding them and thanks for reading!
Unlike many other venues I researched, these guys were willing to be flexible in order to make our dream reception a reality.

Everything from the appetizers to cake was flawless. I had chicken skewers, potato ravioli, and a brucetta. I can't really think of anything bad to say about the food or service.
