We started the afternoon at our church’s Trunk or Treat, and the kids decided to wear some of their old costumes. Their dad wears on average three outfits a day, so I blame their love for a wardrobe change and all that laundry on him.
After a quick nap Hulk and Anna became Thor clearly the 80s hairband version and a fabulous fairy.
And some of the cousins showed up all ready to dance.
With Halloween behind us, Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away. I’ve been planning a tablescape that feels traditional but fresh and colorful my formula for any design and I can’t wait to share it all with you on Friday as part of The White Buffalo Styling Co.’s Blogger Styling Home Tours!
How was your Halloween?

So adorable! The group shot with the penguins made me giggle
Mary Poppins does not look so Merry in that picture:) it made me laugh as well! And I LOVE those spoons in the last pic- any chance they aren't vintage???
The small spoon is from Frontgate http://www.frontgate.com/sambonet-h-art-flatware-5-piece-place-setting/790952?SourceCode=ZZ50871&cm_mmc=Comparison%20Shopping-_-Shopzilla-_-NA-_-NA&mr:referralID=f6ac84d0-835f-11e5-b82d-00505694526f and the large one is an older Anthropologie find. Hope that helps!
Cute pictures. Love the 80's hair and those cute cousins! Can't wait to see your Thanksgiving table Friday. 🙂
Thanks, Kathy!
Your kids (and their darling cousins) could not be any cuter! Love the direction that you're headed with your table, that will be gorgeous! I agree with Julia… that spoon with the leaf detail? Fab!
Oh, I love their costumes. Such cute kiddos you have. I am all about that berry and blue, can't wait to see you work your magic 🙂
I love the vintage marble based towel holder used as a napkin holder….very elegant.
Just stumbled across your excellent blog, and I just love it! Also, what a chic way to do a Halloween party. Love the black and gold!
THanks, Madeleine! Hope you stick around and I appreciate your kind words!
