After a whirlwind week of Xander’s party and my birthday and blog trip to NYC, I came home on Friday to one last hurrah from my husband and his parents. Along with my 30th on Wednesday, Micah and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Friday.
I’m so lucky to have wonderful friends who are also incredibly talented, and my friend Laura offered to sneak away with us for a bit during the party to snap some pictures. Micah’s goofiness has always made me laugh.
And still continues to get me today. (I’m just now realizing my phone is in my back pocket for every single picture. Just getting reality here, clearly.)
It was a great night of friends and family, photo booth strips, homemade ice cream, my favorite drinks (G+Ts), and karaoke.
Micah and I met while he was singing karaoke, and you can often find the group I lead worship with at a karaoke night after practice, so it only seemed fitting to have it at the party. Now, who can tell me how you get your husband to stay off your part? No, Micah, you’re not Sandra Dee.
