I love working on our home and sharing the process with others who love it as much as I do. This blog has allowed me the wonderful chance to connect with people all over and has brought me some really amazing projects and friendships that I’m so grateful for.
No matter your style, your home is a place that should always be a reflection of who you are. To thank you all for your support and kindness Lowe’s and I will be giving one lucky reader a room makeover. While this is not a full blown renovation we’re hoping to complete a space in 24 hours I look forward to working closely with the chosen reader to create a room that feels fresh, put together, and they feel proud to call their own. I’m bringing Mr. Makerista along to tackle some of the handy work and Lowe’s is providing volunteers too, along with some wonderful product to outfit your space.
Here are some of the main requirements to apply but you can see the full list here:
– Must be 21 years of age or older
– Must own your home
– Must be available for a two day period to complete the makeover between 09.25-10.11
– Must be ok with being on camera
This makeover is not only about the space, but how this may impact your family and holidays moving forward. To apply simply fill out the form and submit pictures or video here. You only have have until THIS WEDNESDAY AT MIDNIGHT so don’t hesitate, and I look forward to coming to one of your houses to transform a space!

What an amazing opportunity! You are one of my favorite fellow bloggers. And, please share where can I get my hands on that gorgeous tall fiddle-leaf fig tree?
You're sweet! Isn't it amazing? It's over 12'! My clients already had it, they bought it at a nursery in San Francisco.
Would love to enter but where is this form you are referring to?
Sorry if you missed the links inside the post. Here it is: https://lowesfallmakeover.castingcrane.com. Hope you'll enter!
I just entered, how exciting! Happy for the chance.
Yay, so exciting!
Wow, this is so generous of you and Lowe's! Love your style and would love to see the magic you, your husband and the Lowe's team could perform in the kitchen of our 1912 Colonial Revival. It's a great space, but we haven't been able to make it "ours" yet since moving in last fall. We keep saying we'll get around to it, but our two young kids are keeping us very busy these days!
Would be so much fun to work with you on this and talk all things Colonial home interior design-related. 🙂 Entering soon and keeping my fingers crossed!
Sounds amazing, Lauren, hope you enter!
How fun!! Can't wait to follow along!
Alright, I entered and I'm excited!
Yay!
Does the travel allowance include a flight to Australia??? 🙂 I would love your help now that I am back over here!! Can't wait to see what you do for the lucky winner. It will be amazing! (no pressure – ha ha)
For your sake AND mine, that would be fun!
I just entered! My husband and I are big fans of your blog! We just bought our first home after living with a friend and saving up for over a year. Fingers crossed and thank you so much for the opportunity 🙂
Thanks for entering!
What a fun idea. Can't wait to see who the lucky homeowner will be.
What an incredible opportunity!!! This is just the answer to all my living room frustrations. I just applied and will be crossing my fingers and toes until you pick the winner! 😉
Good!
What a fun contest! I entered today. We bought a 1926 Colonial Revival in December and have been struggling with the living room – it would be so awesome if you could give us a makeover!
I have never applied to anything like this before but I had to when I saw your post! Come to our little corner of Tulsa! I feel like I know your family and I know they would love Midtown. Am I supposed to be nervous? Because I'm just giddy with excitement over this opportunity. I hope and (yes I pray) that you'll be knocking on our door soon!
I just entered!! I hope everything I typed is coherent, because I just drank three cans of Diet Pepsi to give me enough energy to concentrate. I'm a bit jittery now. Haha! We just had a baby four weeks ago and sleep deprivation… ya know.
We would love a makeover so much! I find your blog to be so inspirational! I seriously can't get enough pictures of your dining room. 🙂
I entered and so hopeful!
I entered! I would sooooo love for you to work your magic on our family room. I live in KC too so maybe you'd prefer to drive just 30 minutes to my place? 🙂
Just an FYI, I couldn't find the "Terms of Use" on the form….
Well… we just bought a house this week and it is in need of some cosmetic love! I have lots of frustrations with what to do with my amazing to me new living room. We're actually in the process of having flooring from Lowes installed and I would love nothing more than to have you do your thing to the room (errr all of my house), and since I contemplating emailing and asking you if I could commission your services- I just decided to fill out the form. So I really REALLY, like really hope I get picked for this.
Jumped out of bed to take photos as I just realized the deadline is fast approaching! Sorry for all the dark photos, it was now or never!
Oops, I guess I missed the boat, even though it's only a little after 11:30 here. I hesitated because I thought, who the heck would want to come to North Dakota, four hours away from the nearest Lowes anyway. Ha, ha. I can't wait to see the results! Have fun!
Just tried to submit at 11:44 and got a "Casting Call No Longer Available" message 🙁 I'm guessing the deadline was eastern time.
Rats! I can’t believe I missed this.
