⋅READER BEDROOM At the top of my “favorite things about blogging” list is interacting with readers. The connections that are formed and the relationships this blog has brought are what it’s all about. Connor is an eighteen year old from Ohio who has been such a kind supporter for some time now. I started following him on Snapchat (Con_Lucas) a while ago he is currently attending Parsons to study design in NYC and I LOVE seeing what he’s up to.
While he was home for Christmas break he snapped a bit of his room, and I asked if I could share with you all. 1 – he has some touches that were inspired by things I’ve done, which is so flattering and fun. 2 – his space has a similar feel to what I’m hoping to achieve with our master…modern, traditional, elegant. Connor elevated the room in his parent’s home with the grasscloth wallpaper, and he made that croc-embossed headboard himself…incredible! I can’t imagine how Connor’s talent will grow if he’s already creating spaces like this…
While Connor DIY’d a lot, he also splurged on a few items and that mix is what I strive for. I’m totally jealous of his Mary McDonald lamps…those beauties are on my home decor bucket list.
⋅BABY LIPS A few Christmases ago I shared my favorite chapstick with you and I still hoard that stuff I keep sticks in four different places. I don’t usually do colored lips of any kind, but I recently tried the Pink My Lips in the same line. I love it! It gives just the faintest tint of life to your lips while still looking completely natural. The flavor is very mild and there’s no stickiness or caking.
⋅FRANCE WITH EDDIE It’s been a while since I’ve traveled anywhere, and with this babe attached to me for the next 9 months, it doesn’t look like I’ll be gallivanting off to foreign lands anytime soon. BUT if I could, this is the trip I’d be taking. Eddie Ross has teamed up with The Vagabond International for an eight day shopping excursion in France! I have yet to visit this lovely country, and while sighting-seeing with tour guides would be great, shopping where the locals shop is way more up my alley. On top of his incredible taste and knowledge, Eddie is one of the most kind, fun, and entertaining people I have met. If you can splurge, this trip is sure to be something you’ll never forget and learn so much from!
⋅COLE SLAW CRACK This recipe is something we all like and Micah especially enjoys. It’s rare that I make anything he asks for again, ha. I shared a peek of it on my Instagram stories this week, and so many of you asked for the recipe. My favorite part: I can have it made in about 20 minutes and it’s all done in one pan!
⋅WADDLE SOCKS Need a baby gift or do you have a baby girl yourself? My mother-in-law got Domino these socks in hot pink, and I can’t stop putting them on her. They’re knee highs, and the faux fur pom pom rattles are so cute! Now that she’s noticing her feet, she really enjoys them too.
⋅TURN Another show I’ve devoured on Netflix while nursing, this period drama focuses on spies during the American Revolution. The stories and acting were wonderful. The homes and colors were inspiring.
Well that was a whole lot of random thoughts, but that’s what I love about this series…any good finds be it design, beauty, fashion, food, tv you’ve come across lately?

Connor’s bedroom is amazing. I’ll bet his Mom moves in the minute he leaves for school… That’s what I’d be doing anyway. 😉
