My San Fransisco trip happened right as I was gathering inspiration for our own exterior, and the city did not disappoint in providing plenty of it’s own. Joannie and I spent most of our time walking the streets to shop and do a little looking around at what this incredible city has to offer. There was beauty on every corner. This house stopped me in my tracks.
And look at all of that marble.
San Franciscans may not have front yards, but what they lack in space, they make up for in presentation.
On my exterior bucket list has always been a pair of lions. I prefer more neutral cats, but the fact that these two had different personalities and were huge made me love them.
The shopping was superb, and while I had the chance to visit some chain stores I’d never been to, a local store was hands down my favorite experience.
March is a kitchen and table shop that knocks it out of the park. I wouldn’t say that it was particularly my style, but it just felt amazing to be in. The staff was friendly, it smelled divine and everything was so well curated and styled – I wanted it all, things I never knew I wanted.
Like these pantry items. I think my spices are pretty decent looking, and then I see these. If I had a beautiful kitchen waiting at home I would have been tempted to bring back one of everything. Cooking would almost be a joy!
